Deeds Not Words: 2018 Midterm Election Recap and Reflection
Over 110 women were elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, and more than 20 black women will serve in Congress. This is a huge win for democracy as Congress and some state governments are starting to reflect the communities in which they serve. Issue campaigns were strong, including Florida voting to restore ex-felon voting rights with Amendment 4.
